You don't have to leave your home and drive to a counselor's office. You simply call or Skype from your home or office.
Long Distance Consultation is meant to be brief and intense. It is not long-term psychotherapy. Consultation typically only lasts a few sessions over a short period of time. I get to the point quickly to help you get the results you want.
I am very interactive in phone consultations. I bring 30 years experience as a marriage and family therapist, 20 years of working with men and women on Nice Guy issues, 15 years of leading groups, and 30 years as an educator, teacher, and seminar leader to the consultation.

How Consultation Works |

To begin, you will fill out an intake questionnaire I provide describing the issues you want to work on.
I will send you a link to a special resource page. This page has links to 25 podcasts which contain over 10 hours of information covering many aspects of recovery from the Nice Guy Syndrome. This resource pages also contains PDFs of a number of diagrams I use in my courses and workshops, plus several recordings of several interviews. These resources will lay a foundation to speed up the process of helping you achieve your goals.
A time will be set up for a phone/Skype session.
I provide a Seattle, WA area phone number and a Skype number you can call from anywhere in the world.
You call or Skype me at the appointed time. You are responsible for long distance phone charges (if applicable).
In the first session, you and I will establish the goals and lay out a clear plan of action for your phone consultations.
Subsequent sessions will be directed at helping you achieve your stated consultation goals.

Rates for Long Distance Consultation |

Initial fee for new clients of Long Distance Consultation:
$500 (USD).
This initial fee covers all of the following:
LDC resource page including diagrams, interviews, and 10 hours of podcasts.
My time to read over your initial intake form.
Two, 50 minute phone/skype sessions.
Following Sessions of LDC (50 minutes):
$200 (USD).
