NYC Peer Group - Gay Members Attending

Hi All,
We will be having a No More Mr. Nice Guy peer support group meeting this Saturday August 8th at 5:45pm in Manhattan. We will meet at the corner of 86th and Broadway in Manhattan. The weather is supposed to be sunny and warm that day, so if that's the case we'll walk over to Central Park and have our meeting there. If not, we will walk across the street to the Starbucks on 86th and Columbus.

There will be 2 gay people at this meeting, so that may be of interest to members of the Rainbow Intergration forum.

That's great news. Milwaukee has only had a few peer group meetings, and I've been the only gay guy there. Not that it made a huge difference, but I probably would have felt more comfortable talking about dating things if there was at least one other.

I came across your message from earlier this year re my starting up a peer support group in NYC (with gay participants). As of September I've been visiting Milwaukee every month or so (my partner had to move there for work). I thought maybe we could schedule a NMMNG Peer support Group meeting when I'm next in town (week between Christmas and new years) and we could discuss before / during the unique issues being a gay NG raises.
